In today's video chat, I discussed how one can create an automated trading strategy based on a system of Bollinger Bands. The idea is that you can easily use two different "speeds" of Bollinger Band studies to identify trend movements and reversal opportunities.
The system contains two parts: a trend identification mode and a reversal identification mode. To identify trends, we first classify price as being outside of the standard "long-term" range. We then look for a favorable pullback and reversal on a "short-term" range that continues the trend. To identify reversals, we first find price movement within its standard "long-term" channel. We trigger signals when price crosses various levels within the "short-term" Bollinger Band range.
Attached below are the long and short signal strategies for import into Wizard Lab. You can use these concepts as more tools to add to your own trade automation ideas. Great trading!

I truly would enjoy trading with this platform. Have came up with some great ideas especially with the Bollinger band. Also have viewed a great many of your chat programs. This is where I got some very good ideas that I implemented into my Bollinger band rule.
But Mr. Wagner, if there isn't something that can be done for the synchronization between Wizard lab and chart trader pro--back tasting is useless. The data does not match up between the two. I have sent many, many screen shots of this problem to Prodigio support and also to you.
I hope you have implemented some form of equation that will correct this problem in the upcoming upgrade.
I have designed a program that I think works very well.
Thanks Chuck
Probably I am repeating, what is already known and may be even fixed and available in the next release!! (Soon!)
Agreed with Chuck, the synchronization is broken and doesn't give enough confidence in the strategies we are building as we can't visualize the signals/trades that were generated in Back testing.
Please help with that new release with bug fixes.
