Today we discussed in detail the underlying mechanics of a Bollinger Band Squeeze strategy. It's still one of my favorite indicators due to its simplicity yet timeliness in terms of opportunistic trade signals. If you missed it, I encourage you to watch the chat under the Video Archives.
I've kept the attached strategies very simple so that they can be easily used in Trade Optics. One sends a "Long" signal when the bands squeeze in, and the other produces a "Short" signal when they squeeze out. I strongly recommend setting these strategies up to scan during market hours to give you an idea of how you can scan the market for "consolidation breakout" types of plays. As always, use your own intelligence and discretion to analyze each trade.
Happy Holidays and Great Trading!

Could someone please post the latest update to the Video archive section. I would like to review it over the holidays. Thank you for all your hard work and have a Blessed Christmas and Happy New Year.
HI,
If you are on Prodigio mailing list, usually they are pretty good at sending video links through email. Another place to check also is the ShadowTrader email, see if you can get on that as well.
A note about the archived video posts however.
The software used for archiving presentations is very bad....At times it skips minutes of audio and video.
Even when you have good video cards or Quad core machines, it does not help at all.
These skips render archives useless.
It appears from mention at times that Prodigio is aware of the issue but have not switched to a better archive software.
